I have become a big fan of CT. There is a lot to do here , if you are into the things i am. Hiking , kayaking , fishing or swimming in rivers and lakes , lots of state parks etc, scenic drives , beaches; This is all without sacrificing suburbia , and its good shopping , bars and restaurants. There are also plenty of other things to do , zoo , aquarium , museums etc ; This is not a through state as far as I;m concerned , but it is quite close to all the areas I love up here. In less than 3 to 4 hours (my preferred amount of road trip time) , I can be in Maine, New Hampshire , Vermont , New york (upstate , NYC , or Long Island) and less than that amount of time for all of Massachusetts or Rhode Island.
I intend to start pages of some of the places I’ve been in CT , that are worth a post.
